Pictures of Rome
Ok, so not as wide a scope as promised, but here are some pictures of Rome at least. These are from Rome: Part Uno.

The pyramid near the first place we stayed.

A gladiator getting a quick bite to eat after a rough morning.

The Colosseum from inside.

The remains of the Roman Forum.

The Pantheon at night.

Yet another protest...

A protest so important that even Mr. Incredible got involved. I always figured he was a Communist... the red suit gave it away.

Me with one of the many colossal statues in the city. This one is in one of the Capitoline Museums.
I'm a bit too tired to go through the Greece pictures, so you'll just have to believe me that we were there. Tomorrow we head to Florence for 3 days with no free internet, so we probably won't update until after that. For those who are keeping track, we fly to Barcelona on the 11th.

Wow George! Great pictures...now I want to go to Rome :)
It is great to see that gladiators are just normal people. ;)
If you were travelling a little bit longer your hair could probably rival that reclining gent's mane of curls. What! No hairdressers in Italy? Thank god your beard doesn't grow nearly as fast.
Pictures look lovely. And hey - another pyramid for your collection.... who needs Egypt?;)
Yes, there are hairdressers in Italy. Just wait until the next set of pictures...
I see you're getting ready for all things spanish through Hemmingway first. That's where I first read about calvados - so have one for me.
And what about the corrida - feeling bloody enough to go?
Looks like you guys are having lots of fun! I recognize some of the places that Mom and I went to. We'll have to compare notes when you get back :)
