Croatia

So, our mystery destination was Croatia. We decided that we needed some sun and warm weather. We have been rewarded! We have looked around the walled city of Dubrovnik for 4 nights. We also managed to read in the sun, swim in the frigid Adriatic sea and catch a performance of their symphony. Next we took a Ferry to Split. The lady that we booked our room with made a mistake and double booked it. This wasn't a problem because she called her cousin and we were given a full apartment (a full kitchen!) for the same price. Today we headed to the beach for a couple of hours, then to see Ivan Mestrovic's sculptures and to the Museum of Archeology. Tomorrow we will try to see the Island of Hvar. Then tomorow night we are taking the overnight ferry to Italy. We will make our way up to Ravenna to see some mosaics and then it is on to Venice.

Sorry there are no pictures because the Internet Cafe we are in has disabled the USB ports. Maybe next time...
